Meet Tal W. DeWitt. Tal is a versatile acrylic artist based out of the small town of Battle Ground, Washington. As a grassroots creative, Tal has carved a unique niche for himself in the PNW. At 36, he is a creator who refuses to be confined by labels or limitations and has gone from self-made artist to visionary entrepreneur. He thrives on providing tailored solutions to ensure that his clients’ creative vision becomes a tangible reality. What makes Tal stand out from others is his passion for meaningful, personalized artwork that translates your story onto canvas, fostering connection within the community.  Whatever your vision, Tal W. Tal’s recognizable brushstroke style has evolved into a blend of modern impressionism with an element of realism. His work speaks to a range of emotions, from calm tranquility to bold vibrancy, and he has always been drawn to the cooler side of the color wheel. He loves to see something stand out or something small catch your eye. With the uniqueness of his work, Tal is quickly becoming a sought-after artist for murals, live wedding paintings, pet portraits, and curated collections. Tal has become a trusted and memorable name for custom, transformative art in his community.

After graduating from Linfield College with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing, and exploring various career avenues, Tal’s career journey reached a pivotal crossroads. Feeling stuck in his 12th job, recruiting for somebody else’s dream, Tal decided to seek out more meaningful, purpose driven work. Tal’s faith in God birthed a new vision for his life, and in 2020 he began to build his own dream from the ground up. Combining his love for people, story, and his visionary entrepreneurial mindset, Tal launched his own art business – TALented Works. 

With a passion for pushing boundaries, Tal aspires to be a prolific, multifaceted artist, influencing the next generation not just with design, but also in character and integrity. His goals include creating artwork for custom homes, luxury hotels, and corporate spaces, while also maintaining his authentic fingerprint in the community through painting live for auctions and churches, volunteering to teach art to kids, and hosting paint parties.

Since starting TALented Works, Tal aspired to one day open his own brick and mortar studio in his hometown. Driven by both heart and ambition, Tal’s dream has come to fruition. Opened on October 3rd, 2025,  TALented Works Studio & Gallery brings a fresh new take on art to Vancouver, WA.  Here, you’ll have the privilege of experiencing Tal’s art in person, expand your own creativity through art classes and paint parties, and connect with others through faith and story.
